1954 Kaiser Darrin project

#283 out of 435 made

$13,500 / best offer

Here's a rare Kaiser Darrin that's ready to be restored. The car comes with enough body parts for two cars, plus many hard to find parts, which are detailed below. The car and the parts have now been packed up and arranged for space efficiency, so everything should fit inside of one enclosed trailer. My shop has easy access to back your trailer right in. I can store the car for up to a month before pickup, and can help with loading.

There's over 100 photos here to view, look for my comments alongside them that describe the car in detail. I can be reached at 503-891-7702 with any questions, or you can click to send me an email.

The car is located in Portland Oregon and has a clean and clear Michigan title. I've been a licensed and bonded dealer in the State of Oregon for 24 years.

The front of the frame has been modified to accept a Cadillac 331 motor. It's said that Dutch Darrin bought out the last remaining stock of these cars after production ended, shipped them to LA, and installed Cadillac motors in them. Whether this car was part of that group in unknown, but a Cadillac 331 is a great motor choice for these.

The frame rides on 15" wheels with Michelin tires.

Missing from the car is the motor, trans, and driveshaft. The other missing parts are the steering wheel and top bows.

An extra front clip (shown later in this photo set) is included. It's in better shape than the one shown here.

An extra seat back section is included as well.
